Ellem Ibiam is a 6-4 post from Fayetteville, Georgia, a senior who’s already signed with Hall-of-Famer Dawn Staley, Ibiam is ready for her senior year and looking forward to possibly winning a state championship. We take an opportunity to go one on one with Ellem Ibiam.

Kenny: What are you goals for this coming high school basketball season?

EI: To win a region and State Championship title

Kenny: What parts of your game are you working hardest to improve or add to it?

EI: Im working on adding more post moves to my game, and ball handling.

Kenny: How is your recruiting going? Have you visited any schools recently or have a list of top schools? If you have already committed what are you most looking forward to at the school you’ve committed to?

EI: I looking forward to winning some SEC/National titles and just growing more as a player at South Carolina.

Kenny: Who is the best female basketball player you have ever played against?

EI: Temi Fagbenle

Kenny: Who has inspired you most to become the person and player you have today?

EI: My Mom

Kenny: Do you think Lebron James made the right decision going to the Heat? Why?

EI: Yes, As long as he is happy then its right for him.

Kenny: What NBA or WNBA player do you most think you play like?

EI: Erika Desouza

Kenny: Who do you think will win the Womens NCAA Division I Championship this year?

EI: Not sure yet, looking forward to some big changes this year.
