

Katherine Zander is one of the top 2 sport athletes in the state of Florida. A swimming champion is taking her skills from Orange Park, Fl to Norman Oklahoma and the 6-3 forward will play basketball for Sherri Coale and the Oklahoma Sooners, we take this chance to go one on one with Katherine Zander.
Kenny: What are you goals for this coming high school basketball season?
Katherine: To fully recover from my ACL injury and to help my team win state.
Kenny: What parts of your game are you working hardest to improve or add to it?
Katherine: My outside game. I have been working on hitting the 3 while having the versatility to be able to drive the ball to the hoop as well.
Kenny: How is your recruiting going? Have you visited any schools recently or have a list of top schools? If you have already committed what are you most looking forward to at the school you’ve committed to?
Katherine: I have committed to play basketball for the University of Oklahoma. I am most looking forward to playing with some amazing players and being coached by some of the best coaches in the nation.
Kenny Who has inspired you most to become the person and player you have today?
Katherine: My coaches and my parents.
Kenny: Do you think Lebron James made the right decision going to the Heat? Why?
Katherine: No. He should have stayed by his teammates and supported them.
Kenny: What NBA or WNBA player do you most think you play like?
Katherine: Jane Appel
