Kira Gordon is a 6-0 2012 forward from North Cobb High School. A starter on the Georgia Elite Club team Gordon is ranked in the top 150 players nationally and is poised for a big junior year. We take this chance to go one on one with Kira Gordon.

Kenny: What are you goals for this coming high school basketball season?

Kira: Win state championship, win region.

Kenny: What parts of your game are you working hardest to improve or add to it?

Kira: Shoot the ball from the outside more consistently and penetrate to the right as well as finish with the right

Kenny: How is your recruiting going? Have you visited any schools recently or have a list of top schools? If you have already committed what are you most looking forward to at the school you’ve committed to?

Kira: My list of top schools: UGA, WVU, GSU, VT, USC and SIU.

Kenny: Who is the best female basketball player you have ever played against?

Kira: Diamond DeShields

Kenny Who has inspired you most to become the person and player you have today?

Kira: My mom and Kelvin Powell

Kenny: Do you think Lebron James made the right decision going to the Heat? Why?

Kira: No, he should of stood by his team... I don't think he will be the same at the Heat.
