Seems that Ohio State Guard Samantha Prahalis has been suspended for the first 3 games of the season including today's kick off versus Temple and later in the weekend against Louisiana State, both big games for the Buckeyes who start the season atop the Big 10.
I have an Insider report that Prahalis's suspension stems from a trip she took to her boyfriend at the time Evan Turner's NBA Draft Day. Prahalis supposedly flew to the game at the expense of Turner or his agent and the NCAA constituted it was a violation which resulted in the 3 game suspension. Turner was the 2nd pick in the NBA draft last year and also attended Ohio State he is currently on the roster of the Philadephia 76ers. Turner and Prahalis were known to have dated during their tenure at Ohio State, it is unsure if they are still together but that would be the story regarding her suspension.
